So what’s your idea of Art—that—FLOATS? Did you ever have an idea, thought, message, or feeling that you wanted to communicate (or “float”) to other people through art? Then you should have brought your floating art to Newcomb Park on the shores of Wasilla Lake!
We started launching the floating art at noon, and throught the day we had a station for kids of all ages to make small floating art pieces. The art remained floating on the lake until 4pm to allow for judging. It was a festive afternoon for all, and it was FREE thanks to a generous donation by the Fred Meyer store in Wasilla.
